The Associated Press CHARLESTON, W.Va. - Marshall University is getting $325,000 in federal funding for a project aimed at increasing diabetes education efforts in economically distressed areas.U.S. Rep. Nick Rahall says the funding through the Appalachian Regional Commission was awarded to the Huntington school's Center for Rural Health.Officials say the money will be used to continue the Appalachian Diabetes Control and Translation Project.
