MARTA's Board of Directors voted Thursday to bring rail service into Clayton County. Under a two-fold proposal for expanding transit in Clayton, MARTA is planning a 22-mile commuter rail line from the East Point MARTA station south to Lovejoy, Ga., along tracks owned by Norfolk Southern Corp. The second component of the plan involves running a bus rapid transit (BRT) route along connecting College Park, Ga., Riverdale, Ga.
