BOSTON — A film starring Kate Winslet and Josh Brolin was one of the biggest beneficiaries of a tax credit program designed to lure movies and television shows to Massachusetts.A report from the state revenue department says "Labor Day" was awarded a $5.3 million tax credit last year.The movie was shot in several locations across the state, including the western Massachusetts community of Shelburne Falls.
