A 20-year-old Massachusetts woman was charged with assault after a road rage incident in which she threw her iced coffee and injured a toddler, according to a statement from police. At about 12:51 p.m. Wednesday, Barnstable police received a call from a woman reporting that a driver later identified as Emma Silva, of Marston Mills, was tailgating and yelling at her, according to the statement. The caller further reported that Silva threw a cup of iced coffee into her vehicle, striking her 2-year-old son in the face, police wrote.
