Golf’s most famous pine tree will have a lot less bark when the Masters Tournament arrives in less than two months. The Eisenhower Tree, which guards the 17th hole at Augusta National Golf Club, suffered major damage in the storm that brought nearly an inch of ice and caused widespread damage throughout the Augusta area last week. A photo submitted to The Augusta Chronicle showed major limb damage, particularly on the left side of the tree. read more
