Mcc Graduate Earns Prestigious Jack Kent Cooke Scholarship

A Macomb Community College student, who overcame an impoverished background and personal hurdles, is one of just 90 students in the nation awarded a Jack Kent Cooke Foundation Undergraduate Transfer Scholarship.Dillon DeWitt, 28, who recently earned an associate of arts degree from MCC, qualified for up to $40,000 per year to help defray costs as he works toward a bachelor's degree.
