WEST PALM BEACH — Miami Northwestern senior quarterback Adrian Posse connected with sophomore wide receiver Calvin Russell for a 7-yard touchdown in the third quarter and the Bulls defense had a late defensive stand to hold off host Cardinal Newman 7-2 on Friday night. Cardinal Newman (4-1) had won 14 consecutive regular-season games dating back to last season.
