President Trump's former national security adviser, Retired Lt. Gen. Michael Flynn, has told the FBI and the House and Senate intelligence committees he will agree to be interviewed by officials investigating possible ties between Trump's campaign and Russia in exchange for immunity from prosecution, The Wall Street Journal reports. During the campaign, Flynn was one of Trump's advisers, and in February, he resigned as national security adviser after it was revealed he communicated with the Russian ambassador to the United States before Trump's inauguration at a time when former President Barack Obama was about to announce sanctions against Russia due to its meddling in the election.
