MIDDLETOWN - Parts of Middletown should already appear brighter as the city works on swapping all 1,400 of its street lights with LED technology.Street lights on Wawayanda Avenue were included in the first section of the replacement plan that started in late January and will continue until April.Department of Public Works Commissioner Jacob Tawil said the city contracted Energy Systems Group to do the labor for the energy project.
