Avs star right winger Mikko Rantanen skated on his own before practice Monday, goalie Philipp Grubauer skated for a significant time and defenseman Nikita Zadorov was a full practice participant. All have been out with injuries. Rantanen, who has missed eight games with an injury to his left leg, was on an offensive tear in his first nine games, producing 12 points (five goals). Grubauer, who has missed the past two games with a lower-body injury, was previously expected to travel with the team on the upcoming five-game road trip that begins Tuesday at Winnipeg. Zadorov sustained a broken jaw Thursday and had surgery Friday, but apparently he can breathe well enough to practice in a full facial shield. Forwards Gabe Landeskog and Colin Wilson, who both have lower-body injuries, remain out — and are now joined by forward Pierre-Edouard Bellemare, who went down with a head injury in Saturday’s 4-2 win over the visiting Columbus Blue Jackets. This is a developing story.
