Mini plan to build a 4-door Cooper piqued my interest. I’ve loved the personality, spunk, upscale surrounds and British quirk of this little hatchback since its return to the U.S. in 2001. But I am glued to the convenience of four doors. A decade later, Mini came out with a larger 4-door Countryman, which retained much of the original’s charm, but as a crossoverish wagon I had mixed feelings. This time, Mini hits my sweet spot.
