FROM STAFF REPORTSBIG CEDAR — A nursing student from McAlester was found dead Sunday inside an overturned sport utility vehicle that was partially submerged in water in Latimer County, authorities said. Callie Morris, 21, was last heard from Thursday evening as she was driving to McAlester from Hot Springs, Arkansas, where she had been attending school, said Rick Rutledge, Oklahoma Wing Civil Air Patrol incident commander major. “LeFlore County Sheriff’s Office along with cell phone forensics experts from Civil Air Patrol worked into Saturday night to narrow the search area even further before the search resumed on Sunday morning,” Rutledge said in a Sunday news release.Read more on NewsOK.com
