Missouri Man Killed, Arlington Woman Wounded In Grand Prairie Shootout

By BILL MILLER A Missouri man was killed and an Arlington woman was wounded in shootout early Sunday in northwest Grand Prairie, police said.Eric Murphy, 21, of Kansas City, Mo., died about 12:30 a.m. Sunday outside an apartment complex in the 700 block of Great Southwest Parkway, said Detective John Brimmer, police spokesman.Investigators believe he was "shot and killed after he fired several rounds" at a 22-year-old Arlington woman, Brimmer said.The woman was wounded in the leg, Brimmer said.
