An Augusta are man died Monday afternoon after being partially ejected during a rollover crash on Old Waynesboro Road. Willie S. Merriweather, 56, was transported to Augusta University Medical Center where he was pronounced dead soon after the 6 p.m. crash, according to Coroner Mark Bowen. Police were called to the 4000 block of Old Waynesboro Road after the driver, 46-year-old Warren Nicholson, lost control of his truck resulting in it flipping several times.
