PROVIDENCE, R.I. -- Right time, right place: A detective working a construction detail on Monday arrested a man wanted in a hold-up at a gas station last month.Detective Brian Muldoon had investigated the robbery on Sept. 12 at the Shell gas station at 598 Branch Ave. The clerk told police that a tall heavyset man pretended he had a gun and shoved her behind the counter as he grabbed the cashier drawer, according to a report.
