MoPub has added new support for rewarded video ads. Starting today, publishers can manage this ad format from Unity Ads, AdColony, Vungle, and Chartboost. If you’re not familiar with rewarded video ads, these are formats that encourage users to deal with the ads in order to receive an in-app reward. MoPub says that publishers can use this this ad type to “balance their user experience with additional sources of revenue.” Initially, developers are probably only leveraging mobile app install ads and just standard display ads.
