Mainers won’t have much time to rest from Tuesday’s blizzard before another storm blows through the state on Friday. Mike Kistner, a meteorologist with the National Weather Service in Gray, said snowfall amounts will be much lower than the more than two feet that dropped Tuesday across much of Maine. He predicted 4-8 inches for the Portland area, with higher amounts likely to the north and east.
