More Than A Thousand Gather To Honor Teen Who Died In Friday Wreck

By Graham Lee Brewer, Staff WriterMore than 1,000 people gathered Monday evening at the People’s Church on Britton Road to mourn the loss of Cleatus “C.J.” Davis, a John Marshall High School student who died Friday after a car wreck. It was standing room only in the church’s auditorium, and church staff had to bring in additional seating just minutes into the service, placing more than 1,200 chairs down. Davis and two other students were driving north on Portland Avenue near the high school when the vehicle went off the road, Oklahoma City police said.Read more on NewsOK.com
