While she hasnt officially announced her retirement from acting, Dame Judi Dench has most likely starred in her last film thanks to her deteriorating eyesight. The 89-year-old Dench has enjoyed an illustrious 65-year career that began in 1957 with an appearance in a number of stage plays, leading to her first feature film role in 1964s The Third Secret.
The recent news that National Treasure 3 could be finally about to get off the ground, with the original cast returning, comes as a surprise following Nicolas Cages previous comments that There is no National Treasure 3. However, original National Treasure director Jon Turteltaub has defended Cages attitude towards the idea of continuing the franchise, noting that the actor has had a long enough career to know that things dont always pan out as planned.
Beetlejuice Beetlejuice is building up to a ghoulish release later this year, and in the new issue of Empire Magazine star Winona Ryder has been sharing a little more information about her return as Lydia Deetz in the long-delayed sequel. Although the actress has made many movie appearances over the last four decades, as well as starring in Netflix series Stranger Things, the Beetlejuice sequel is a first for Ryder for one reason.
