By Logan Lowery Daily Journal STARKVILLE – Mississippi State is expected to learn its postseason fate later today. Despite a 5-7 record, the Bulldogs will go bowling for a school-record seventh consecutive season thanks to its high academic progress rate of 971. “For all the things have gone wrong for us this year, maybe the good Lord’s going to look down on us and give us a little blessing to give these young men one more opportunity for these young men to get to play again,” said MSU coach Dan Mullen. The Bulldogs’ bowl destination this year will fall out of the SEC’s usual footprint.
