Nassau taxi drivers and executives mobilized Monday urging the GOP-controlled County Legislature to opt-out of a state law that will soon allow companies such as Uber and Lyft to operate legally in the county, and suggested a possible industrywide strike if lawmakers do not block the popular ride hailing service.
