National Jukebox Now Online, Serving Up Hits From The Early 1900s

The Library of Congress's new National Jukebox offers 10,000 acoustic recordings from the dawn of the 20th century. But what it really offers is a deep glimpse into a world in which the categories that we've attached to genres --"classical," "popular," and "opera"-- weren't always so clear.
