BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) — The number of lobbyists has increased significantly as North Dakota's 64th legislative session has progressed. Data from the North Dakota Secretary of State's office show 380 lobbyists representing 709 organizations were registered in January. There are now 544 lobbyists representing 942 organizations, which isn't too far off the numbers from the past two sessions. Secretary of State Al Jaeger doesn't expect too much of an increase during the final weeks.
