If you still haven’t seen Hunger Games: Catching Fire, you’d better get on that: Netflix has announced it won’t renew its U.S. agreement with Epix. As a result, the streaming service will lose some big movies like Hunger Games, World War Z and Transformers: Age of Extinction at the end of September. In a blog post on Netflix’s website, chief content officer Ted Sarandos explained that Netflix has decided not to continue working with Epix, adding that many of these more popular movies are also available on cable and other streaming services, and Netflix’s focus is on cultivating new exclusive movies and series. “We know some of you will be disappointed by the expiration of the Epix movies,” Sarandos wrote.
