New Baltimore Waterfront Focus Of Coastal Case Study

New Baltimore residents will be asked at an upcoming meeting to weigh in on the future of the city's waterfront.The city has been selected as a case study community to develop a sustainable small harbor management strategy for Michigan's coastal communities. The Sustainable Small Harbor Management Strategy Project is being supported by Michigan Sea Grant, the state Department of Environmental Quality's Office of the Great Lakes, the Michigan Department of Natural Resources' Waterways Commission, the Michigan State Housing Development Authority and Lawrence Technological University.
