There’s a new push to get more school kids to eat breakfast in Maryland, so advocates, educators and parents gathered at a public school in Silver Spring on Friday to bring attention to the idea. They talked about higher student performance, improved attendance, fewer visits to the health room and better chances of high school graduation for children who start their days with a morning meal.
