A new fund is being launched by The Community Foundation for Northeast Florida, which makes charitable gifts and grants throughout the region. The “exciting new fund” and its inaugural grants will be announced at a 1 p.m. Wednesday news conference at the Foundation’s Riverside office, according to a news release. The presentation will be led by Foundation president Nina Waters and local philanthropist Jeff Chartrand, according to the release. read more
