NEW HAVEN >> Members of the Board of Education Monday rejected a resolution calling for collaboration between the district and the Eagle Academy Foundation in New York City, indicating a lack of interest in continuing discussions about launching a school for low-achieving boys in the city.The board's opposition to the resolution, which was penned by school board Secretary Darnell Goldson, represents the first time a proposal idea for a local charter school aimed at young boys of color was put to vote after months of presentations.
