New Haven Seeking Farmers To Harvest 10-acre Hay Field That Links To 19th Century Past

NEW HAVEN >> New Haven is making hay while the sun shines.In a literal twist on the old proverb, the city has some 10 acres of Timothy hay grass growing at the East Shore Park.Looking at the potential educational connection to the city's 19th century past, area farmers have been asked if they are interested in harvesting the hay for their own use.
