NEW HAVEN >> Fellowship Place has been "a community within a community" that has offered a lift to people who are homeless or who have mental health issues, says its executive director, Mary Guerrera.With cutbacks to social services in the state budget - reductions that have affected Fellowship Place as well - the agency's activities, meals, housing and, most of all, fellowship, are as important now as they've been since the agency's founding in 1960, Guerrera said.
