Data analyzed by the Inquirer show that temperatures in New Jersey have seen among the highest rise of all states in temperatures from 1988 through 2017. New Jersey saw a 2.19 degree rise Fahrenheit, compared with a 2.42 degree rise in Alaska - the highest of all states. Vermont has seen a 2.22 degree rise, second highest.
