A New Mode Is Being Added To Splatoon This Week

Nintendo has announced that a new mode named Tower Control will be added to Splatoon at 7pm PT on July 1. This new mode will be added to Ranked Battle alongside Splat Zones. According to the press release, the "objective of Tower Control is to ride a single floating tower into the enemy’s base." The tower starts in the middle of the map, and starts moving when someone is aboard.
