Washington • The Senate on Wednesday confirmed Utahn Carolyn McHugh as the newest member of the 10th Circuit Court of Appeals.
Senators voted unanimously to elevate McHugh, the presiding judge of the Utah Court Of Appeals, to the federal appellate court, which oversees Utah and five other states. She becomes the first woman from Utah to serve on the panel.
