A former financial auditor at New York's lobbying and ethics watchdog agency alleges that she was fired after reporting sexual discrimination by one of her supervisors to the agency's leadership. The former employee of the Joint Commission on Public Ethics, Catherine Webb, alleges in a recent civil lawsuit against JCOPE that she was repeatedly subjected to abusive verbal conduct that was "severe, pervasive and frequent." Webb's litigation was filed recently in New York's northern district federal court. Webb says the abusive behavior came from a co-worker, Gareth Perrin, in 2014 and 2015.
