Before the major league season was put on indefinite hold, there was a high probability Rockies fans only had until the trade deadline to see the last of Nolan Arenado in purple pinstripes. But now, the coronavirus pandemic has shortened Arenado’s likely LoDo swan song.  It could set up as a sad final season at Coors Field, or no season at all, for the greatest player to ever wear a Colorado uniform. That likelihood, rooted in offseason trade talks and Colorado’s inability to realistically compete for a world championship, won’t dissipate with no games being played.
