NEWPORT, R.I. — City Council member John Florez has not provided the Newport Police Department with a Snapchat message he says threatened his daughter, according to an arrest and investigation report prepared by Detective Stephen Carrig and released Wednesday afternoon.Florez has told The Daily News the message prompted him to call the 13-year-old local boy who sent it and demand he stop contacting his daughter.Florez, 46, of 11 Roseneath Ave.
