SWAT teams in western Washington state were looking for a man who fled a courthouse Friday after a judge was stabbed in the neck and a female officer was shot, officials said.

A sheriff's deputy and two other people were wounded Wednesday afternoon during an exchange of gunfire outside a courthouse plaza in Tulsa, police said. Police spokesman Leland Ashley said authorities responded to a report of a person firing into the air between the Tulsa County Courthouse and the library. Deputies, including the one who was wounded, exchanged gunfire with the shooter, Ashley said.

Joe Biden may be the nation's vice president, but that doesn't mean he can avoid fulfilling his civic duty. Biden reported Monday morning for jury duty along with about 100 other people at the New Castle County courthouse after receiving a jury summons.
