Dwyane Wade had 39 points. LeBron James had a triple-double. The Miami Heat had a 22-point lead. The Utah Jazz were unimpressed on all counts.

Heat 101, Nets 78: James Faces Jeering, but Little Competition

Heat is on: Miami pounds Magic

Dwyane Wade scores a game-high 26 points, LeBron James adds 15 and Chris Bosh 11 in a 96-70 home-opening victory over the Orlando Magic.

Senh: An impressive win for the Miami Heat. Orlando's one of the top teams in the NBA, and Miami destroyed them.

Celtics 88, Heat 80: Celtics Rain on Heat’s Future Parade

LeBron James scored a game-high 31 points for the Miami Heat, but neither Dwyane Wade nor Chris Bosh were in All-Star form in the loss to the Boston Celtics.

Rondo, Celtics refuse to sweat Heat

Rondo, Celtics refuse to sweat Heat

LeBron James has joined forced with Dwyane Wade, but Rajon Rondo sees no reason to worry about them yet.

Senh: It's interesting that the league and media were just as skeptical about Boston's Big Three when they were first formed. They were saying that other than KG, Ray Allen, and Paul Pierce, the Celtics didn't have anyone else and that previous big three's had failed to get a championship. How wrong they were. I don't think Miami's Big Three is as complimentary as Boston's, but the rest of their team are coming together nicely - signing Mike Miller, Juwan Howard and Big Z and resigning Udonis Haslem and Jamaal Magloire. That's a pretty solid front line.

Heat meet with free agent Derek Fisher

Free agent point guard Derek Fisher has met with the Miami Heat on the day after the team lavishly introduced LeBron James and Chris Bosh as Dwyane Wade's newest teammates.

Senh: Derek Fisher and Juwan Howard? These are decent veterans to help the trio of Lebron James, Dwyane Wade, and Chris Bosh. Derek Fisher has proven useful wherever he went. Both of these guys would be a great fit for Miami.

LeBron James' move making waves beyond South Beach

Maybe it's a seismic shift in the NBA landscape. Or it's just a little wave washing up on South Beach. One way or another, LeBron James has the league's attention. Around the NBA Friday, everyone was talking about the impact of James' decision to spurn the Cleveland Cavaliers and form an All-Star trio with Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh in Miami.

Senh: Doug Collins made an interesting comment - Lebron James leaving Cleveland and Chris Bosh leaving Toronto automatically weakens each of those playoff teams in the East. Now, two more playoff spots open up in the East. In terms of playoff impact, it mostly impacts Orlando and Boston, who are title contenders in the East.

NBA Free Agents: Chris Bosh, Dwyane Wade say they'll play for Miami Heat

NBA Free Agents: Chris Bosh, Dwyane Wade say they'll play for Miami Heat

Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh are teaming up together on Wade's Miami Heat, the two free agents said Wednesday.

Senh: Wow. This free agency is getting really interesting. Now, where will Lebron go? If he really wants to win a championship, then there's no question that it should be Miami. If he's going for the money, then he's staying in Cleveland. With Bosh going with Miami, there's really no chance that Lebron's going to New York, even with Amare Stoudemire.
