Wade admits he might be out until playoffs

Dwyane Wade won't rule out missing the rest of the regular season to recover from a right knee injury, but the Miami Heat star said Sunday he hopes to return before the playoffs.

LeBron, Heat set team record with 15th straight win

Lebron James

Alonzo Mourning never did it. Shaquille O'Neal didn't, either. Even Dwyane Wade had never won 15 games in a row as a member of the Miami Heat. The Heat have had their fair share of stars come through South Beach over the last 25 years, none of them as bright as LeBron James. Wade had 32 points, 10 assists and seven rebounds, James shrugged off a sore left knee to score 20 points and grab 10 rebounds, and the Heat earned their franchise-record 15th straight victory with a 97-81 win over the Minnesota Timberwolves on Monday night.

Celtics Beat Heat, Tie Series

The Celtics' big lead gone and leading scorer along with it, Rajon Rondo had a message for Kevin Garnett. "It's time," Rondo said. "We have to take the game over." And when that still left the Miami Heat with a final chance, the Celtics turned to an old Garden ghost as Dwyane Wade launched a 3-pointer that would have won it.

NBA Playoffs: Referees Decided Close Game Between Miami Heat and Boston Celtics

I was watching the wild rollercoaster of a second game between the Miami Heat and the Boston Celtics yesterday. The Celtics looks like they might steal one when they lead early by over ten points.

I just knew that the Heat would make a comeback, and they did. By late third quarter or early fourth quarter, they not only destroyed Boston’s lead, but they also went ahead by as much as seven or eight points.

The Celtics made a run of their own, caught up and sent the game to overtime.

Wade loses cool in Heat's 94-75 loss to Pacers

Dwyane Wade lashed out in frustration during the worst playoff game of his career. His target wasn't wearing an Indiana uniform. Wade confronted his coach as the Miami Heat melted. The star had an animated exchange with Erik Spoelstra on the sideline in the third quarter, a disturbing low point on a night when nothing went Miami's way, and the Heat were throttled 94-75 by the Pacers in Game 3 of the Eastern Conference semifinals.
