- r/ESPN on Reddit: ESPN+ poor stream quality from servers, 504p is the ...ESPN plus games still horrible and are at a low bit rate compared to everything else out there. ESPN2,3 and U look fine. It seems to me they're just shipping out on the high definition streams on any ESPN plus game and I guess this just must be to save bandwidth.

ESPN+ is Only great if you’re looking for boxing, mixed martial arts, soccer, or non-major conference college basketball/football.
- How do I watch a game on ESPN if I don't have a cable provider?but yes, if you're wanting the NBA, NFL or big time college football, the service isn't going to get you that. you're going to need to either get cable or wait for ESPN's upcoming, and much more expensive subscription option that will include all of that stuff

ESPN+ app knows I’m subscribed, but still ... - RedditAlso, even if not VPN connected into a blackout area - the ESPN app will block the same way without a useful message if they detect a VPN. Not sure if you have an iOS device to do the same tests, but that app typically will at least say it's because of suspected VPN.
