Bookmark or Share- Project management goal: Track progress - Microsoft SupportWhen you track the progress of your schedule, two things will help you the most: Create a baseline before your project gets started. Use the right views to see how things are going. With these two steps, you have the best chance of leading a successful project.
- Show the critical path of your project in ProjectChoose Advanced, scroll down to the bottom, and then select the Calculate multiple critical paths checkbox. Select OK. Choose View > Gantt Chart. Choose Gantt Chart Format, and then select the Critical tasks checkbox. By default, Project shows only one critical path, the one that affects the project’s finish date.
