The Lutcher Theater is a 1,460-seat performing arts facility owned by the Nelda C. and H. J. Lutcher Stark Foundation and operated by Lutcher Theater, Inc. It is the largest Performing Arts Series from Houston, Texas, to New Orleans, Louisiana.
Lutcher, Louisiana: Small Town Charm, Big Hearted Welcome
Lutcher is a St. James Parish town located on Louisiana's Great River Road, an approximately 70-mile stretch of highways between the outskirts of New Orleans to the Baton Rouge suburbs. Lutcher was named for Henry J. Lutcher, whom, in the 1890s, was the co-owner of a massive cypress lumber business where his namesake city came into being.
