Skipsea Brough is located in East Yorkshire, England. It is an archaeological site of significant historical importance. The site is believed to have been occupied since the Iron Age. Skipsea Brough is home to a large Norman motte-and-bailey castle, built around 1086. The castle was constructed by Drogo de la Beuvrière, a Flemish nobleman.
