The City of Woodville is located on US 190, US 287 and US 69 in Deep East Texas., and is the county seat of Tyler County. Woodville lies north of Houston, west of Jasper, east of Livingston and southeast of Lufkin. Tyler County is named for John Tyler, the 10th President of the United States.
