In an unexpected move, Warner Bros. announced today that "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Pt. 1" will only be released in 2-D in both conventional and IMAX theaters.

A camera able to create 3D images up to one kilometre (0.62 miles) away has been developed by a team in Edinburgh.
