BOULDER — This time, the Colorado Buffaloes completed the weekend. And they did so emphatically. The 23rd-ranked Buffs secured their first series sweep of the Pac-12 Conference schedule in dominant fashion Saturday night at the CU Events Center, pouncing on Washington early and controlling the contest throughout a 76-62 victory. The win improved CU to 16-4 overall, marking the best 20-game start in 10 seasons under head coach Tad Boyle, and 5-2 in the Pac-12 going into next week’s two-game road swing through Los Angeles. CU erupted out of the gate, knocking down seven of its first eight 3-point attempts while harassing the Huskies into 12 first-half turnovers.
