Noah Syndergaard’s visit to a youth clinic Thursday is likely responsible for the latest wacky medical issue to hit the Mets. The right-hander was placed on the disabled list Sunday with “hand, foot and mouth disease,” according to assistant general manager John Ricco, and will be replaced in the rotation by Corey Oswalt.
