BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) — North Dakota's early Canada goose hunting season is set. The Game and Fish Department says the season will open Aug. 15. It will continue through Sept. 7 in the Missouri River Zone and through Sept. 15 in other areas of the state. The early season is aimed at reducing a goose population that has grown well above management goals.
