DENVER – When Northfield High School began playing basketball three years ago, it didn’t even have a gym to call its own. Now in just their second season of competing at the varsity level, the Nighthawks are starting to turn heads as the No. 5 seed overall in this year’s Class 4A state boys basketball tournament. “Nobody really knows who Northfield is and we’re trying to get our names out there,” said RaSheik Gaddis, a senior guard and co-captain.
