The tiny Columbia River Gorge town of Cascade Locks, beleaguered by bad winter weather and a terrifying forest fire last summer, hopes to get some good news about its bridge. Much of the Northwest Congressional delegation is supporting a plan to add a pedestrian-bicycle lane to the Bridge of the Gods, which the locals hope will become a big tourist draw.
